FS: Tudor Monte Carlo 7159/0 8.26 Serial (approx. 74/75)
Any lint or marks you see are on the acrylic and not the dial. Dial is epic with creamy lume which matches the hands both visually and under loop & blacklight. The dial is all original and unmolested in any way. I think I was the second person to remove the 13 link 7836 bracelet with 380 ends. Bracelet is also unmolested and has natural stretch.
Case looks.....dare I write.....unmolested.....is that allowed? Valjoux 234 is doing its thing. All functions work as they should. Chrono starts, stops, and resets as it should. Unknown service history. No service marks on caseback. Lume is creamy and dreamy! An old watchmaker once told me that the Montes were notorious for poor lume. He said the lume on the Monte dials only worked for a year or two. He said that often the dials were relumed at a few locations around NA back in the 70s. You may notice that you see many Monte dials that have lume applications that look like they were applied by a drunk during detox. He told me those were relumed. This dial does not exhibit any of those characteristics. Based on my experience, this one is unmolested. You all have seen what happened to any Daytona made up to 1999 recently. Well that price movement makes this the most affordable chrono with Rolex DNA out there. Much like the 912 after the 911 spiked.....prices will rise. Mark my words. I have a plethora of references both here and abroad. Wire is preferred. I can ship. F2F in SoCal is encouraged. I can send scans via email or text. 3 day right of return you pay ship both ways. I assure you....this timepiece will delight you. 17500 USD Please note that I am not selling this watch willingly. This is a combo of a wife and an IRS induced sale. I have taxes to pay in April and it costs to much to swap spouses....so here I am....this sucks.....cant own em all! Bjmcfp@hotmail.com Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk |
