Land,Air, Sea and Dress
I am deliberately trying to acquire watches that I won’t see everyday.
I added the Cartier today and I’m loving it. Waiting on a Rolex BLRO to replace the Tudor GMT. The Omega is beautiful in person but it’s a test case at this point. I’m hopping to finalize this foursome and retire from acquiring and just enjoy wearing. Thoughts or suggestions? |

The santos was actually a pilot’s watch originally.
If i were to get a dress watch, i would go thin and in leather. Precious metal if possible. In any event, you have a fab four. |

Great lineup. I picked up the Santos recently, but unfortunately I picked up the medium which was a tad too small. So I traded it for your exact blue SMP Diver 300. Excellent taste!

Excuisite! I do say the Cartier is dressy, though you could also say it’s another air considering the Santos was the first pilots watch! Just a fun historical fact, though; you, sir, most definitely have land, air, sea, and dress but with a twist caused by the great implications of having one of the most classic pieces in history. Well done!

Ha, thanks! The large is the perfect size and unlike a lot of people I prefer having the date. |

Fantastic 4, enjoy them in best of health. I think you will like the omega. I tried it recently and was so close on pulling the trigger but backed off as I had other priority.

![]() ![]() Congrats on your new Cartier! I just bought the same watch with the new blue face. I’m waiting on my Daytona C to fill the land “void”. The new AP 38mm Chrono also may be a contender. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's a solid collection. If the Omega falls out of favor I'd look seriously at a Sub. It's the quintessential Rolex and can be worn with anything like the rest of your collection. Having had a boat load of references, it's still my favorite. And I think you'll find a lot of others here that'll agree.

I recently bought the older version of the Omega thinking it probably wouldn't stick. Turns out I love it almost as much as my SeaDweller. And being blue it's different enough and I love the hands.
Although the land sea air thing is kinda fun, it too restrictive for me. |
