Blinged up scratch magnets which have no right to be on a tool watch - particularly the Sub.

Love them on the GMT IIc but prefer the brushed links on the EXP II, Sub and DSSD.

Agree. The jubilee manages to conceal the scratches exceptionally well.

X 1,000 PCL are horrable, and they look like garbage when they are all scratched.

Yes, I know that this can be easily fixed by adequate sanding, but I always prefer to keep originality of my things, inlcuding watches.

Like them on the Daytona and Milgauss. All others I like brushed finish better but GMT II C is looking better each day...

I'm actually on the fence with this one. I like them polished, but I also like a brushed finish. On my GMT IIc the polished center links get wear and scratches and the contrast between them and the brushed outer links becomes less evident.

Difficult question to answer.

Love the polished centre look on my YM, but my Sub looks fine with the all-brushed look.

So it really depends on the watch and model.

My Platty bracelet would look kinda "stupid" with an all brushed look!!

JJ you are right i think that it depends on the watch as you say...i couldn't imagine a brushed GMT-IIc and i would dislike a Sub with PCLs (don't know about the SS forthcoming ceramic Sub though).

When I first saw the new GMT with the ceramic bezel, the only thing I didn't like were the polished centre links. But now, the more I look at it the more I like them...

I always love this discussion, so I can pull off my GMT II C. Coming up on 18 months 24/7 wear. The scratches are so numerous they are turning into a nice patina.

That's crazy! From that picture it appears the brushed sections are polished and the polished section is brushed.

24/7 wear indeed. Nice...that's what I like to see...a watch being used as it was intended and not treated like a fabriche egg.
