Incoming Snowflake!

This one has been on my radar for a year or two but I always had my eye on adding another SS Rolex model.

This “shortage” has given me the opportunity to really seek out other brands and learn more about them. I’m happy to have a local AD who’s slowly but surely brought me into the Grand Seiko world.

Picked it up over the weekend. Beautiful watch to see and hold on person. Crazy light, but already feels good on the wrist.

Those are very nice and I'm sure you will enjoy it. I agree about the shortage, it has opened my eyes up to different brands. There are many nice brands to choose from other than Rolex.

beautiful -

i love rolex, but the odd (masterful) combination of ubiquity and scarcity makes something like this quite a bit cooler to me.

Thank you! I’ve seen a few of your GMT pieces and already starting to research more about those. Uh oh! Slippery slope!

Lol...it’s a crazy slippery slope! I’m full on in seikoholic mode. Both seiko and Grand seiko.

I’m contemplating that as well. Add a nice blue/navy strap to compliment that second marker would really pull that together well.

Like your strap. Trying to find curved one but needed 16mm at gs buckle. Odd size with 20mm at Watch.

Those look great! I think even a more vibrant blue would pick up the color very well. Everest Straps make leather straps with the curved ends to line up perfectly with the Rolex models, I wonder if that could work on the snowflake?
