Instruction for install Oyesterflex

Here's the instruction on putting Oysterflex on my 116500 step by step. I would recommend that you put a clear tape on every corner just in case that you might get scratch up by the spring bar. Please feel free to ask me if you have any questions. I am sorry for the poor English

Where did you buy the band from ? I didn’t know you could buy oyster flex band from Rolex for this watch ? I thought it was like a sky d where the casings are different depending on rubber or metal bracelet

It fits the SS model as well, however sourcing one may prove difficult.

I got the band from my AD. I knew him over 15 years now and he really treated me like a good friend. One day, i text him a photo of the Oysterflex and ask him where can i get one, he told me just come into the store and he will get me one. He measure my wrist and never ask me for deposit, i got it within a month along with the end piece that he already prepare for me If not, I was thinking to order the end link through a Ebay seller in HK OfficialTime "Armor of the King" End Link with 904L stainless Steel instead of Smarty 316L stainless steel. AD are also human and they know who's their loyalty customer, I LOVE my AD and i wish i can disclose his information to bring him more business, but i guess due to the high demand, he won't need any new business for now lol. There's no SS Rolex sport model in his show case.

So your AD got you the end links as well? Im picking up my OF strap tomorrow for my GMT IIc, but still need to source some end links.

The end links for the OF only come in gold, so you have to buy aftermarket ones unless you want to spend some crazy amount of $$.

Smarty end links. Google them. I picked mine up from them for my 116500LN and they work great.

You can anyway remove the endlinks from your bracelet and put on OF right? Why order another?

What is this story? Would like to know more coz I love the PM Daytonas look with ceramic bezels and they are cheaper and easier to acquire in whole Daytona lineup I guess. But am not sure about the OF or rubber belts. Leather would look classy I guess instead.

The end links on an Oyster bracelet are not removable links. And the ones on Oysterflex gold Daytonas are like a “half end link” to provide a more finished look. The aftermarket Smarty end links provide the same look in steel. I also highly recommend them.

I really like the oysterflex with the black dial Daytona. Much better than white dial.
