Thoughts please 1961 GMT Master.
Hi Guys, as the title suggests, I'd love to get some feedback on this watch.
The seller says the following - "Gent’s Rolex GMT Master 1675 in stainless steel. Matte black service dial with printed tritium markers and date at 3. Service hand set. Automatic movement. 40 mm case with screw down crown, plexiglass crystal and lovely painted aluminium bezel insert. Stainless steel 78360 Oyster bracelet with folded steel clasp. This watch comes in excellent condition with our 12 month warranty. Circa 1961." The insert looks weird to me but it may just be the lighting. I'd love to hear the experts comments as I'm keen on this watch. Thanks..... |

Please wait for the real experts, but something about the hands hour and minute hands do not look period to the watch.

Just noticed a closed 6 on the date wheel, that is certainly service as well.

Basically you're just paying for the case. Everything else is replaced.

Were it me, I would not pay that much considering the replaced parts. It is not as of now very close to original.

Honest description IMO, but not a watch that would interest me.
