Vintage Rolex Service/Repair/Restoration
Hello, all. Have been sifting through the forum to find recommendations of places that will service and repair and refurbish vintage rolex watches. I have looked at the various threads but did not see what I am looking for unless I have missed a posting. I have a 1957, ref:6565 oyster perpetual on jubilee and both watch and bracelet need help. Thanks for your time and assistance!

For servicing the movement and case work if desired, LA Watchworks has many fans on this forum, myself included.
For the bracelet, you can contact Classic Watch Repair in Hong Kong. Many before and after pics of their work can be found here. |

I’m in the same boat, still deciding who to send my Vintage Rolex Datejust to but from talking to others in the forum it seems LA Watch Works is the best place. Heard a lot of great things from them. I want to send to Rolex but would have to talk to the people at the Rolex Service Center in NYC about it because I do not want them to replace the dial and original parts. Kinda makes me sad that Rolex Service doesn’t really respect Vintage

Great Point. It would seem very natural for Rolex to have in stock or produce what is needed for vintage Rolex.

I am sure that you can find a good watchmaker in Portland or Seattle near you...

Try Watchmakers International. They did a great job on my early 70s 1675. Nice folks to boot.
