Oyster two Tone band for a Tudor Chrono Time 79263?
I own a Tudor Chrono Time 79263 that came originally equipped with a leather band. The band is now quite worn out. I would prefer to fit an oyster band but the space between the lugs seems quite big to fill. Can somebody give me advice? Thanks!c44d_3.JPG

I have never seen an Oyster bracelet (or any bracelet fot that matter) on a bi-metal Tudor Prince date chronograph.......only leather straps.
You might be able to retro-fit a Rolex TT Oyster band but I cannot help you with the correct flushfit ref. I'm afraid.

For a 792XX like yours you need Tudor 605 end pieces. The problem is that they are all SS - no gold in the middle - and I guess this is the problem, rather than getting a Rolex Oyster bracelet in SS/YG - which is available, but expensive. The Rolex end pieces are way too small.
Here is my 79260P on a Rolex 93150 heavy Oyster with 558B end pieces. As you can see the fit is poor (so I do not use it like that...): Perhaps someone could help you gold plate the middle part of 605 end pieces? Very nice watch by the way, and I actually prefer the Tudor Chronos on leather band without the links that you have. Try it! Best, A |
