If you had to pick your dream Rolex ..

If pricing and availability (waiting lists) were no issue, which Rolex would you acquire? Could be vintage or modern, list the model and reference. Feel free to add pics.

I’ll get it started .. since I’m more into modern watches, that ice blue dial and platinum would be one that would fit my style as the bracelet flies a bit under the radar- the Platona 116506

While I wouldn’t say it is my “dream” Rolex, do regret not picking one up while the were available at a reasonable price.

Wow - tough call .... have to go vintage here.

Can only narrow down to 2 -

Sea Dweller 1665 Double Red or

Daytona 6263 "Big Red" - White dial

I’m fortunate enough to be wearing mine. The BLRO SS Ceramic. I’d post a pic but it’s way to complicated on TRF these days.

I had the same issue with pictures early on and a TRF member gave me this scoop, so am paying it forward. If you download the Tapatalk app to your phone you can run the forum in it, and picture posting becomes easy. Best of luck.

I'd go with the first watch in this thread but make it 42mm

This model outshines any modern Daytona, by miles.

Yup, that works for me as well.

We'll have two then Garçon, no need to wrap them, we'll wear them out!

Possibly a nice 1665 SD though since it is more unlikely than ever to happen, I would probably just stick with my 16710!

Good question! I would be torn between;

1) Sea Dweller 1665 Double Red
2) Yellow gold day/date

I used to think a YG 40mm DD was my grail but today I'm satisfied with my DJ41. There's nothing else in the current lineup I would trade it for. However......I do wish I had kept my 116710LN.
