Icon4 Lots of calls from AD

Since Valentine’s Day I’ve gotten 4 calls from my AD?! First was for a GMT 116710LN, went to pick up, they had a SD43 they had just put in the case, bought that instead. Since then, she’s called 3 times. Offered a Explorer 2 polar, passed, another 116710LN, and now today called offering an Everose/ SS GMT. Going to see her in the morning to try it on, not sure how I feel. This is overwhelming !

I’ve bought a DJ from them, and a couple pieces of jewelery for my wife in the past 2 years. I stopped in after dinner one night, had a good buzz, and talked watches with a very well versed woman I hadn’t bought from before. A month later, it seems I’m on her good list. I’ve only bought the DJ and last month the SD43.

Thought it was an interesting occurrence when everyone is posting about poor experiences working with AD’s and wait times.

Hopefully it’s ok with you that I post? If not I’ll just wait til you approve

⬆️⬆️⬆️ Agreed....I’ve seen a whole lot more pointless threads than this one! Glad to hear an AD is seeing inventory

anecdotal evidence of watch shipments, supply increasing, watches going to actual customers.

doesnt prove anything, but neither do any of the negative supply threads.

I really believe there are few inflows or watches. I got my GMT LN same way after few phone calls. I don’t think there is anything special other than a bit of available supply

Nice! Good to have someone at the AD taking care of you!

Granted, they're not of the "ultra-hard" to find category. If one were getting as many calls for Daytona, BLRO and LV, then you should be buying lottery tickets!

Yeah I just hate when my AD is always nagging me to buy all the SS professional models they keep getting in. If I get ONE more call about a ceramic Daytona I'm going to lose it! ;)

Which AD in Mass? This sounds like a good one.

I’m guessing that for whatever reason, in my semi drunken state, with a small
Purchase history, I had some impact on an employee who has a little pull at the AD. Possibly could be that I’m 31 and maybe they see a potential long term customer. I’m still in shock.

My goal here wasn’t to gloat or brag!!! If you haven’t visited your AD in a while, I personally have to believe from my experience that it may be a good time.

I’ve been on my ad’s list for a Pepsi since 2yrs before it was announced. Last wk while the timepiece mgr and I were msging each other about basil I said I wanted my blro and didn’t care how many ceos and md’s were ahead of me in line. Whelp he called my bluff emailing me Monday to say he had it... looked at it yesterday.... picking it up Saturday. The relationship is key. If she likes you she’ll work for you
