Yachtmaster education needed
I am interested in purchasing a two-tone YM on the secondary market, I believe I want a blue dial. Through some research, I read that a "Sunray" dial was released in 2012? I also found a watch that says it was bought in 06/07 range and it appears to have the same dial. It is an "M" series and it is a bit over 2K cheaper than if I get a post-2012 model in the same condition. I also believe the clasp is different, my question is this: Is there a difference in the blues that were used on the dials and is there a big enough difference between an "M" series and a post-2012 model to warrant an additional 2 to 3K in up pricing?
Thanks. |

I’m pretty sure that the TT, blue dial YM was discontinued around that time - as they have the older style bracelet.
Having said that - I’ve seen several (it is a beautiful watch) — and all of the blue dials looked about the same to me. Likely the ‘premium’ for the latter series models (prior to it being discontinued) are just that... (The slate dial is also a stunner!!) Good luck!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
