Did the grey price of a 116610LN just go up another $800?

A TS in here just listed a new one for $11K and a very slightly used one for $10.7K. David has one with stickers for $11.3K. This is beyond crazy. I need to thank my AD yet again for getting me one a few weeks ago.

Prices on Chrono24 still in the low to mid 9’s for a 2018. The seller is asking for too much above market IMO.

Have you looked at Chrono24 recently, like in the last 5 minutes?

Get one while you can since the current price is still very reasonable.

The price will be what a willing buyer is willing to pay.

Didn't want one before they were DC'd and I don't buy these as investments. Hilarious how they didn't sell at $9K and now all the fervor to go get one. Really shows just how many people actually buy Rolex for speculation and investment, not enjoyment.

Many of the incoming threads for the watch I see are scored within a few weeks of waiting, so I don't think it's hard to get.. maybe it is hard to get on a list though but the wait is not long once your name is down? I know I waited a week for mine and I am no VIP.

And while many advertise these prices on the various watch forums the prices will continue to rise to those IMHO are crazy to pay these prices.

Even at that price I don't think it's a terrible deal considering the watch you get for the money (at least, compared to other watches). It's a fantastic watch, wearing mine today.

Discontinued? Now you are confusing me? Are you thinking of 116710LN (GMT).

I am confused, too. We're talking about the 116610 Ceramic Submariner Date, right? If so, this watch is neither discontinued nor terribly hard to get at the moment.

The TS are seeing what the market will do. If they can get close to asking price they will continue walling it up until there are no buyers and will walk it down again. If I wanted a BLNR, LN or any other discontinued watch I could have owned them years ago and did not. So I do not want one now, based on hype. Just my thoughts.
