Black Bay GMT Bracelet, Leather, or Rubber strap

Hello,

I just got my Black bay GMT for one month and continuously flip between wearing the bracelet and the RubberB with the OEM deployant clasp.

Do I have an issue? I feel like the bracelet looks best but somehow I keep thinking the watch is too heavy with the bracelet.

Then I will put it on the RubberB but it doesn't look as appealing as the bracelet.

All I'm doing is switching back and forth daily between the bracelet and the rubber strap. Oh, my problems.

What do you guys think? Anyone else has issues deciding which strap to wear and constantly switching? How do one deal with this problem?

Thanks again for any feedback.

I've got the Leather strap and the Bracelet (AD threw it in for free), I definitely prefer the Bracelet in feel. If I ever get the urge for a non-metal strap, I switch to the Daytona.

That's a very nice AD to throw in leather or bracelet for free.

My OEM clasp costed $295 USD.

Yeah it came with the leather strap and they knew I wanted the bracelet. I like the feel of the bracelet even with the extra weight.

I really like it with the oyster bracelet. But anyone find the watch is too heavy or top heavy?

I personally think it looks best on bracelet.

And with my BBR, I find it feels heavier than Sub or BLNR, but it is a larger watch. If anything, having the bracelet makes the weight more balanced between top and bottom of your wrist vs. strap or leather that would make it 'top heavy'. Perhaps your bracelet is not as fitted as your strap and therefore you feel the movement of the case on your wrist (a heavier feel)?

Here is a stock photo from the web:

Mine is on leather and I have an Everest strap. Leather in the cold months, rubber in the warm ones. No problem here.

Prefer mine on Bonetto Cinturini 400CT w/ custom end links. Also looking for a custom leather option as well. The Tudor GMT looks great on just about everything.

Here is mine with the bracelet and the RubberB.

I just switched back to RubberB, since the weather is warming up and I scratched the bracelet clasp pretty bad from desk diving yesterday.

Jeez - I used to wear mine in the office, and it never got scuffed up like that. You must be working a lot harder than me.

My view - I liked on bracelet but struggled with the adjustment so it spent more time on leather than anything else. Accentuated the vintage vibe also.....

I like the custom end links. Can you show the backside of the watch? How does the custom end links attached to the watch case and what types of strap will work with it?

Thanks.

Thanks! Unfortunately I'm on the road and for some reason the same file size that will work from my Mac is too large when used from my iPad. I’ll add picks this weekend. The end links just sit between the case and strap. Some thick leather straps might be too big to fit. The BC rubber strap I use is a tight fit but I sand down the spring bar ends a bit with sandpaper (easy to do). Most vintage style leather should work fine.

If go with the bracelet. I have a BB58 on the bracelet and it's amazingly comfortable.

I’ve got a 6.5in wrist and the bracelet on my GMT is still loose and can’t take any more links out. Plus the clasp is off center and feels off. At a crossroads on weather to keep or sell. Have owned this on the nato before and finally had the chance to pick one up on the bracelet from an AD and was disappointed i couldn’t size it appropriately as I can’t take any more links out. Anyone else run into this issue?

And yes I’ve already changed the micro adjustment to the shortest setting.

I don’t really like bracelets so I fitted mine on rubber and didn’t like it. So I tried it on the bracelet and it transformed the watch for me.

I have mine on the OEM bracelet but I also have the OEM NATO and a cool strap from Bulang & Sons for a leather option. Wear it how you want and don't worry about scratches. They happen and for a tool watch like the GMT I think it adds character.

I feel the bracelet actually balances out the heft of the watch. Recently I switched to an aftermarket chevron which looks fantastic and is the most comfortable way to wear the watch IMHO.
