Blue versus Black TT Subs.

I love both of these timepieces, but lean toward the Black TT over the Blue in my tastes.

The Black just seems to be more elegant and less flashy, but that's just me.

Which do you prefer?

They are both very good looking...if I had to pick one, I think I would go for the blue one, since I have an all black GMTII!

Oops I voted for black by mistake, what a jerk

The black is classy but the blue TT sub was my first grail watch & my first experience of the whole waiting list / grey dealer premium malarkey

I eventually got the call after 18 months on the list with my AD, its still my favourite

I can't vote because it is a tie for me.

My first Rolex was a black TT Sub which I loved for 15 years. I have said and will repeat, if I only could have one watch for the rest of my life I would choose this watch.

However, I have several black dialed watches now and the only one blue faced watch in the collection..Bluesy, which gets lots of wrist time.

Love them both!

They're both fine watches. The blue has the edge for me due to the reflections you get on the dial in certain light. So it wins by a short head.

The black is excellent and probably better as an only watch to own, but there is NOTHING in this world that has "the look" of Bluesy!

Nah, real men wear Aprons.

That said, blue. Black and gold is striking, but blue and gold is just a pleasure to look at.

I would definitely go with the bluesy. Imo it has character and a LOOK that no other watch can come close to. And if you want a second opinion just ask JJ!!!

Black/gold all the way. The blue dial/bezel combo is harder to pull off than a YG DD.

Well for black dials, almost every Rolex models have black dials. But THIS particular blue dial is only found in the TT Sub or the YG Sub. It is just not a normal blue but a unique blue(I also do not know how to describe it ), just enchanting!

I would said, there isn't another watch with blue dials that looks nicer than the TT Sub!

The black sub wins it for me. I dare not say it, but I think the bluesy looks a little cheap! No offence to blue owners.
