Incoming- Finally got the call!!!

Today I got the call for the Pepsi. My SS Rolex collection is finally complete. I have been very fortunate to have acquired all my watches from my AD at MSRP despite these crazy times.

Big congrats on the BLRO! And wow - that's quite a SS professional collection. I'd agree that you're good to go...for now

Awesome collection! Over what period of time did you acquire them?

Can you give us an idea of your rotation? Which watches get the wrist time?

I collected all these watches starting in mid 2015 (except for the Submariner that I got in 1991).
I usually just pick one watch and wear it for a few weeks before I change to another.

Congrats.

Is that Sub LN a 5 digit?

Yes it is. It was the first Rolex that I got in 1991 as a gift from my dad. It never came off my wrist until I started ramping up my collection in 2015.

Very nice, congratulations! I'm waiting for mine from my AD also. How long did you have to wait? I know it's different for everyone but I have a longstanding relationship with my AD as well. One AD told me they only get 3-5 a year, while another said it's more like 20. Either way, worth the wait. Enjoy!

I went on the list on the release date of Baselworld 2018. My AD generally gets the high demand pieces for me within 1 year. There is obviously some variation. I managed to get the white Daytona C 6 months after its release. This BLRO was apparently the first one that they received this year.

You are probably correct although there are currently no more Rolex watches out there that I feel I really must have. The only one I might consider is the JC Deepsea (I’ve turned down the offer to buy the new model twice already).
I’m not too keen on gold Rolex watches. The SS models are much better value in my opinion. At some point I might consider something from FPJ, PP or ALS just to diversify a little.

nice collection of modern Rolex... sincere congrats. you could always go vintage or even a few well kept 5 digit options.

Be careful when venturing into the Rolex sub forums you mention above- crazy things can happen quickly
