New day-date

Finally took the plunge on a day-date, chanced upon these at the local AD and the rest is history...

Doesn’t seem to get much love, a few pieces sitting on display

I think the leather strap helps to make it wear a little smaller. I think it works

Is that a 40mm ? It looks more like a 36mm.

Does Rolex still make a DD on a leather strap ?

I really like this watch. I hope it's the 36mm.

Thx for the compliments guys!

Yea it’s a 36mm DD on leather and I hve small wrists

I believe the ref is 118135 - refs are different for each metal type

Don’t know if Rolex sells the dials individually, would be nice to be able to switch in the future

Ebay or grey market, Rolex will fit a new dial but I don't think you get the old one back. I'm subject to correction here lol

I have the same watch model (118135) as you.

I chose the Chocolate dial as it just looked amazing to me with a brown strap.

Rolex in the UK will do a dial swap for free if your watch is relatively new.

Perhaps the service centre local to you will do the same.

Here is another picture of mine (I posted one earlier in this thread)

It looks less "formal" with chocolate ... Thats why i chose it.

The reflection off the dial is crazy - it’s a diff shade when u see it from diff angles and totally evident from your ‘before’ and ‘after’ pix - photos don’t do this watch justice!!

Big fan on the DD on strap. Too bad they don't offer it anymore.

Beautiful watch and huge congratulations.

I've tried that very watch on a couple of times at my AD, but my wrists are just a little too big for 36mm. It looks amazing on you though.

Wear it in good health my friend.
