If you're looking at this listing then I'm sure you know absolutely what you're viewing. This is the Grand Seiko SBGA211 Snowflake Spring Drive. Purchased from a Grand Seiko authorised dealer on the 15th April 2019 , it comes complete with outer sleeve, GS box, watch cushion, rice paper, user manual and factory warranty documents.The transferable factory warranty is good until April 2022.

It is by any standards a complete work of art. At the risk of me boring you to tears and gushing over technical details I would suggest you search YouTube for ‘Grand Seiko Snowflake SBGA211’ as Tim Mosso and the other horology YouTubers do a much better job of describing it than I ever could. He's spot on though when he notes that we all love the Snowflake- it's an all timer among Grand Seikos because there's just nothing quite like it whatsoever.

This 41mm, 12.5mm thick watch is new, stickered up, with an unsized bracelet and boxfresh as the pictures attest. There are no scratches, dents, scuffs, anything of that nature whatsoever. It has the absolutely phenomenal, ground breaking, hacking and smooth sweeping Spring Drive movement.

As you can see from the photos the watch plays with the light dramatically. Sometimes in direct light the Zaratsu polished high- intensity titanium case and dial polishing has a shiny 3D lifted look to it. In diffused light or at dusk it has a warm rich shine to the indices and polished edges of the titanium bracelet. The indices and hands on this watch are so remarkably well polished that you can see the time perfectly in all but a pitch black environment. It weighs in at 100 grams, has 100 m of water resistance, a polished date window with screw down see- through case back. The layered dial is mesmerizing and you'll just never get tired of looking at it. There's no sufficient way to describe it but if you could imagine a depth like three dimensional layered snow you'd be in the right ballpark.

As a testament to the craftsmen and women at Grand Seiko every component in this watch including between the gear teeth has been hand polished. A fully in house and adjusted movement, the Caliber 9R65 operates well beyond COSC standards (+-1s p/day). 3 days of power reserve with indicator, there is simply no other watch manufacturer except for perhaps Patek or Lange that pays as much attention to detail in their work. The finishing in this watch borders on obsessive.

As a caveat to this sale please be warned. If you buy this watch it may completely spoil your other high end pieces. I have placed it side by side with Rolexes, Omegas, and Zeniths and they all pale in comparison. Next to this watch your Swiss Rolex will look like a toy.
