Looks like someone put in an Exp II GMT hand and a Roulette wheel date disc. So is it real or just a mod?

Dan993 that is the question i posed to everyone. I personally think its a honor and privilege to see this watch personally....However if no one can give a constructive answer to my question then it really shows how much knowledge we all have within the horology industry proving our limited knowledge. Therefore I would not knock the personal who has bought to light maybe something no one knew existed but rather embrace their find and bid them well with the purchase!! Not be bitter!

i believe my points are valid from the outset! As like i mentioned before about recent White Gold Submariner bark president bracelet with yellow gold nipples. I certain if you had asked collectors whether they knew that model existed or had seen it through their life time ill be very surprised if more than 5 people in this whole forum could state otherwise. We have to remember there are pieces that are out there that we know nothing about and are genuine but its whether the owners wants to school us to what is actually around! Hence why i titled it Show your prototype or transition luxury.. so really i would like to see those who seems to be negative their prototype collection that's if they have any!!

How about using the shift button....

Yes, you are right, no one knows everything and especially on the secretive ways of ROLEX.

That said, watches like yours "prototypes" just dont 'pop up' - Rolex is too careful and secretive - its not like APPLE!

So I am pretty sure you have a marriage watch - I asked who the AD is - you did not respond.
If you PM me the serial number I can do a check on it too.

Rolex Ceramic rmaic prototype

That’s what I said until I went to Rolex with his RSC service paper. and confirmed all original.😯 However would you know if it’s modified?
The owner i had no reason to doubt the dealer but am keen to buy from him😌

The service centre would not touch anything that’s not original. Though sometimes they can be frustrating and limited in knowledge.

If it was real, it would look like this:

Green 24 hours hand and green writing on the dial.

I know mine is real as I bought it at an AD.

He’s saying it is a prototype or that’s what I understand from his post.

Hmmm, interesting I won’t go on as if I’m a guru in time pieces, but why would he the AD go through all the trouble? My self personally find it very Interesting. I read up on various other prototypes in the market and found that the owners at some point would have faced scrutiny but look how much the last sub WG on a bark president went for! And a steel presidential....

Even my 16710 (stick)when I bought that from the same person, I got hammered and look now their desirable!! Also I forgot in 2009 I was offered 116710 error stick and I rejected as I was swayed to stay away!!

Of course he would say that, because it’s not real.

even if all genuine ROLEX parts - its a marriage watch and counterfeit in ROLEX terms.
They would not service it!

Various posts in the WatchOut section appear recently to have a lot of specious posts by brand new members, with comments by other brand new members. Not that I really have significant time here. But seems to be more & more common in the short time I’ve been here.

Yes, they are spam/scam accounts trying to get posts. Report them.
