Who Else Feels Superior To Others Because They Wear A Rolex?!

Totally hoping everyone who read that header got pissed I feel blessed to be able to own a few nice watches, but I know that what makes me different is the way I treat others. It isn’t that I wear an expensive watch, have a nice house or wear nice clothes. The measure of a man is how they treat others, regardless of what they can do for them.

May we all strive to be as passionate about helping others and making this world a better place, as we are about our “silly” watch hobby.

I absolutely love the camaraderie on these forums and with watches, but let us never forget those less fortunate than we are and always strive to make a difference in this small world!

Happy 4th of July to all of my fellow American’s and to everyone worldwide. We live during a great time and in a great world.

I wouldnt say superior but I must admit every time I look at my watch my eye does linger on the actual 'Rolex' word..it just says something..without saying something..if that makes any sense?? I guess I feel proud to own one

Absolutely agree! Nothing wrong with owning nice things as I LOVE my watches and they make me feel proud and accomplished. But, a watch doesn’t make the man was my point. I know at times I get lost in my personal hustle that forget how blessed I am and that others have way more serious issues than what type of Rolex I should buy next

This ^

I don't know what it is either but there is something about seeing that. Not like anybody else really notices but I know it's there.

Incoming post about haves and have nots, tacky suits, overpriced BMWs, and questionably dressed companions.

It's very irritating that non Rolex wearing peasants don't kneel before me when I'm forced to be in their presence. Do they not SEE my Rolex? Are they blind?

I feel as if I have a superior watch, but definitely don’t feel as if I’m a superior person.

And a whole bunch of people who never get tired of telling everyone else that a Tudor is not a Rolex.

so true. Rolex owners often get mad when "higher" brand snobs look down on them and are often the first to then slam Tudor for not being good enough

I own all 3 brands

I was just going to say this also. fortunately, there are not many SQUARES (non-Rolex persons) who know this or have heard of that brand.

I feel superior to the Guy at the end of the bar waving his Tag around , then again I soon feel inferior when I'm sat next to some smug guy with his Nautilus
It depends how people wear them and how they behave , an arsehole is still an arsehole whatever watch he wears

A watch doesn't define you or who you are.

I agree that I feel inferior when I wear my PP perpetual calendar chrono, since I will meet someone who has the split seconds chrono ;)
