well, according to the Rolex website, seems like there will be a new clasp for the YM probably coming out this Basel 2009. i am not sure if its official but if you go to the rolex website, choose yacht-master then click "EXPLORE THIS WATCH" under "INNOVATION" you'll see "Rolex Bracelet".
the weird thing about is that, on almost any sport model, you'll see "Rolex Bracelet" so am not sure if it is false but I don't think they're going to put that for no reason. same case with the DSSD. before the Basel last year, Rolex already gave out some teaser image as to how the DSSD would look like so am assuming they're doing the same thing again. i think it also makes sense that one way or another, in due time, they have to update the clasp. The GMT-IIC has the new clasp, the Daytona some M and V serial now has the new clasp, the new Submariner (ceramic WG & YG models) has it so it won't be long that the Yacht-Master will have it. that's my educated guess

Do the 35mm and 40mm Yachtmasters currently use the same reference bracelet/clasp? Would the clasps for the two watches be interchangeable?
