For sale is a mint condition 36mm stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold Rolex Datejust. The 16233 is a E serial, was original purchased in from an US ORJ in 1990, is fresh from factory service and under warranty, and is accompanied by its original box and papers. Included in the box and papers set are: a green cardboard outer box, green leather coated wooden inner box, green paper holder sleeve, two instruction manuals, the original warranty paper, a serialized green Rolex hang tag, a brown hologram hang tag, a Rolex polishing coth, a Rolex factory service card, a Rolex factory service travel sleeve. An interesting fact about the Datejust is that according to its import stamp, the Rolex was originally shipped to the ORJ on October 19th 1990. The Rolex features a brushed steel case which is accented by a fixed yellow gold fluted bezel. The Rolex is mounted on a period correct jubilee bracelet with 455B end links, brushed steel outerlinks, polished yellow gold center links, and is secured by a folding deployment clasp. The bracelet contains 19 full size links, will comfortably fit a 7.5 inch wrist, and contains virtually no stretch, would rate it 95% plus. The Rolex features a champagne dial with applied yellow gold stick hour markers, tritium coated polished gold hands, and a magnified date window aperture at 3 o’clock. The movement used in the 16233 is the Rolex calibre 3135 which features approximately 48 hours of power reserve and is COSC certified. Overall the Rolex is in mint condition and contains no visible imperfections to the naked eye. It is worth noting that the lugs are still extremely plentiful, as they have not been interfered with over the years.
