Incoming.... PP 5227R

Have wanted this one for a few years but something else always came up in its place....decided to get it over with already...really digging the low profile refinement on this one.

No need to dress up to rock the 5227R. I wear mine routinely with jeans and a polo and/or sport coat, deliberately informal. Subtle, understated style with distinction and gravitas.

Thanks All...

I’ll wear it with jeans or shorts as well.
Playing with straps...this is a matte gray/charcoal strap...I think it works

Many congratulations..!! Its a beautiful piece. I have put a deposit to get one with my AD.

What's your opinion on the case back? Would you have preferred it if it opened more than 90 degrees? I have always wondered if that would bother me.

I also own the 5227R, to answer your question, the case back is exquisite. I don't mind it opens only 90 degrees, although I agree that maybe 120 would have been better, but 90 does not feel like a limiting constraint at all.

Reality is you won't open the case back very often, but when you do, it will be to great effect - a reassuring reminder of how special and finely crafted this piece is.

I would add it is a cool feature in a modern watch that hearkens back to the old days and the view is spectacular even at 90 degrees. A classic watch whose simple beauty I never tire of...
