It was a beautiful Sunday in Auckland....

So off the 5 of us went to Mission Bay - a beautiful, elite spot in Auckland for some food and Movenpick ice-cream. Some pics.....

My daughter Yasmin with her 2 girls - Nairika (15) and Annika (7)...

A great double-scoop of Mango ice-cream in a delicious waffle cone!!

Looks like a fun day JJ...I'm jealous. Were expecting 6" - 10" of snow tomorrow here in the Philadelphia area.

Looks like a beautiful beach. How far is that from your house?

Like I said at the beginning of my thread, that whole area is called Mission Bay......the most expensive beach front estate in Auckland.

It's about 5~6 miles from where I live. Great place to visit on sunny weekends.

Hey JJ, great pictures of what must have been a lovely time with your wonderful family. I enjoyed the photos. Some things that caught my eye:
- Fantastic fountain - I 'm a fan of nice public fountains
- The mirror behind you made some fun shots, I like seeing Annika taking your picture!
- In some shots, Bluesy almost looks black!

I also noticed the trash receptacle says "RUBBISH." I love that! Something you wouldn't see here in the USA.

Looks like your photos disappeared - luckily I captured a few of them - JJ, put them back!

By the way, JJ, you never told anyone I was there, maybe because we got in trouble for playing in the fountain?
