Aqua Terra Strap Options
I just picked up my 41mm blue dial Aqua Terra a few days ago and now I’m looking for strap options.
I really like the OEM blue rubber strap but don’t want to spend $300-$400 and I would rather have a strap with a tang buckle. A rubber strap would be my preference but I’m open to suggestions.

The rubber would look great I'm sure, but I'd enjoy the bracelet for a while first before you swap it. Otherwise you will never know what you are missing brother? |

Oh I plan on wearing the bracelet. But I’m retired and would like a more casual option as well.

Personally I would get the OEM rubber which I think is great. For cheap, can consider Barton elite silicone, a watch gecko sailcloth or a tropic strap

For alternatives, I usually go straight to the Camille Fournet site. They don't offer rubber, but I love the workmanship and materials on the leather straps I have purchased from them. You can design a Camille Fournet strap to suit your preferences. |

Even though this is on my Gold Aqua Terra, I believe the strap is the same quality

Congrats! Just tried this exact configuration on yesterday and loved it. For me, the current version of the AT shines more on the integrated rubber strap than the bracelet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I like the factory rubber but not factory price so I went with a knock off version. The omega version is way more than $400 since you have to also buy the clasp and the metal strap ends.

anyway the newer strap with metal piece in the middle will need additional elbow grease to bend the lug pin to fit.
I will definitely suggest you getting the rubber seamaster strap for easier fit. |

That Omega rubber costs a fortune. Its more expensive than the bracelet. From memory it was around £600. The AD initially priced it at around £350 but someone else in the store overheard and told them to double check and its good they did as those little bars are sold individually. Having said that its a fantastic strap and great for the warmer weather.

I agree that the OEM strap looks great but have a hard time justifying the price tag.

The OEM rubber strap gives a new life to my old aqua terra. Originally came with white alligator strap (i'm a woman in case you're wondering) but now it becomes my sporty watch. Sorry crappy photo.

Can anyone tell me what size deployant clasp is required with the OEM rubber strap? I know that the lug width of the watch is 20mm but don’t know if the rubber strap tapers by the clasp like the bracelet does so I’m not sure what size deployant clasp fits.

I bought one from 3rd party to fit my AT goodplanet and due to the taper is 19mm/18mm, it didn't look good. The original is 19mm/16mm which is very good fit but I just can't seem to find one in the market. |

For 41mm, i believe you need 18mm clasp. For 38mm, you need a 16mm clasp

I called the Omega Boutique just to be sure and they verified that the 18mm is the correct size.
