My Swiss Army chrono classic

I bought this one a few weeks ago from a fellow in Canada. I really am liking it. Do others of you own the Swiss Army watches and do you like them? Cheers, Bill P.

What size is it? Quartz or mechanical?

By how the chrono center second hand is sitting right on the marker, I would venture a guess that it is quartz, no?

Nonetheless, a beautiful piece!

Looks like it, though Victorinox does have one automatic chrono...

My SA chrono is quartz. I am not sure on the case size, but I think it must be 40 or 41 mm. It is a very comfortable wearing watch and I really like the looks. It keeps spot on time as well. Cheers, Bill P.

nice looking. it has an omega-like quality to it - especially the lugs and crown guards.

Today I received my new Wegner. I think it may be the first watch I've ever purchased myself [and I have grey hair!].
It has the white cross in a red field, but is made by the other Swiss army knife company.
I think they are decent watches, but maybe the bracelet could have been a little beefier.

Still waiting for the right 15200

Slight quibble- as of 2008, Victorinox owns Wegner. Same company, two different lines.

I have had several Swiss Army watches over the years... all quartz. This one, like all I have had, is very accurate. I think they are a great value for a fun watch. They are very well made and good looking, I think. Cheers, Bill P.

3000

now I had to go look it up on the internet -
I have a startech 3000
I DO NOT recommended it. Those six push buttons are just too much...

I see they make one called the XLT I like - but I'm not falling for it again!

I have one - forgot the model name. But it looked awesome on the internet (princeton watches). when I got it on my wrist - not so much.

been sitting in a drawer now for a few years.

but i have seen other swiss army watches that are very nice. My buddy has one that he got over 10 years ago for a present, and has worn it every day since. So I do think they are very well made watches.

I have one, Maverick II, quartz. Very nice for knocking around the yard or golf course. Good timekeeper.
