Back from Rolliworks

Hey everyone.

I have received this 1969 TT DJ 1601 matte tritium dial. #1.9xx,xxx
From my father. once i had the watch in my h hands, I dropped it off with Rolliworks the best in the biz to service the movement and repair the oval link bracelet. And of course the watch came out perfect. Here are some photos of the watch

That's a beauty!! Can I ask what your turn-around time was with RW?

Sounds like someone has landed a bracelet that needs attention?

Back from Rolliworks

Their work and customer service just keeps getting better. World class and arguably #1.

All the chatter used to be about MY in HKG, and then LAWW. The team at RW just seem to be consistently batting 6’s lately (that would be a home run for many here).

Did they polish or replace the crystal? It looks way better than my 1986 DJ! I just got an estimate from rolliworks for the movement and bracelet service. Probably should include the crystal work? Thanks.

OK, how was my first post?! I found this site recently researching rolliworks and decided to join!

the crystal is original to the watch, but not sure if they polished the crystal, when they service the movement, you have a choice of doing there "courtesy" polish or NO polish to the CASE. you can double check with mike/sal at RW if they polish the crystal.

Beautiful result. I used RolliWorks for the same overhaul as yours and it came back impeccable for a fraction of the price quoted at the other places. Not to mention detailed, lengthy, informative, friendly e-mail exchanges with Mike.

Can't recommend them enough.

Amazing result and that turn around time is just incredible!

I think MY is starting to fall out of favor, especially if you require a watch service too as he only services walk ins.

Looks great. Rolliworks is great on service and especially on turn around times. An eye catcher for sure. Cheers.
