question on 1981 GMT bezel

I was thinking about getting a 1981 GMT Rolex that is gold/stainless. Similar to this one:

https://www.watchclub.com/rolex/gmt-...ear-1981-11972

I'd like to switch out the bezel for a faded pepsi bezel. Does anyone know if the diameter of the bezel for this watch would be the same as the pepsi bezel? I'd imagine they'd be the same, but just wanted to see if anyone knew for sure.

I'd like to put something like this on it. The faded pepsi bezel, I mean:

I'd also like to switch out the large GMT hand for the small GMT hand.

I'll keep all the original parts, but I wanted to customize it a bit for a different style. I'm just wondering if the different parts would fit the watch.

The stainless steel, or two-tone, bezels from the GMT 1675 and 16750 are interchangeable. They work on either watch model.

The bezel inserts, whether Pepsi, black, gold or two-tone brown from the GMT 1675 and 16750 fit either watch - mix and match them.

The small, red, 24-hour hand from a GMT 1675 will not work on a GMT 16750. The center post holes are different sizes for the 24-hour hand on each model.

Thanks Springer. That's very helpful!

I wonder if I could get someone to make me a custom 24 hour hand. hmm.

Actually, the one I was looking at is a 16753. Is that pretty much the same as the 16750?
