Any thoughts?
I am close to buy one myself. First it didnt sing to me a lot but now i find it a very attractive wristwatch.. Do not know how my taste has gone in this direction but was wondering how the owners of one like it and if it get worn frequently when paired with other references? My other watches are : 42m polar 114060 |

It is becoming more and more sought after. Buy if you like it and wear it everyday.
I for one will buy if I can find a nice piece. All the best. Q Best Regards, Danny |

I thought I wanted one, until I saw that big flat bezel "in the metal." Went for an OP instead. No regrets.

Disliked the fat bezel too, prefer the proportions of the 36mm version 14270 / 114270 or the OP

I love my Explorer, it’s arguably my favorite Rolex. It’s sporty yet extremely classy when it needs to be. I actually picked it over buying the ceramic Sub when given opportunity to purchase either in 2018. And I still would.

I just got a 214270 to go with my BRLO, LVc and 116519LN and I love it. It's simple and clean and versatile. I've been wearing it on a strap or NATO and it looks great. Get it!

i got mine to go with my 114060 no-date submariner and i love it because
1. it isn't as noticeable/recognizable as the submariner 2. it is less top heavy than the submariner 3. you can dress it up or dress it down |

Best Rolex out there. It does need time to grow on you. I didnt want one for years. To simple, always thought maybe nice for a small collection but to generic for those who have lots of watches. Last year my ad offered me a significant discount so i picked it up thinking i can always give it to my wife. Its now one of my favorite watches and always hard to take it of when its time to rotate. Its true what they say, its a collection killer. It does it all, except bling if you are in to that.

The 39mm Explorer Mk1 is my first and only Rolex, and the most versatile watch in my collection. I'll never give it up.

I changed the quote above slightly, as I have one additional Rolex, but I will never give this watch up. Passed on the SS Subs and Exp II to get mine. Great model. I have the MK1.

Excellent watch, I have two, one 36mm, the other 39mm. A subdued classic.

It's a beautiful watch. If I had a smaller wrist I would be all over it.

I liked the 214270 mk2 so much I traded my
10 year old 16610 in on the Exp. It is a great watch. I prefer the Exp. now but am glad I had the 16610 for 10 years first. |

If you didn't have the 114060, I would say, SURE!
Since you have it, I would go OP or DJ 41, as those are a little dressier. |
