It would depend on what watches I currently had, and how patient I was.
But if I was starting fresh, I would buy the DJ41 at an AD for $7,500. This is a watch that is not overly difficult to find (may take a few weeks or so). Then I would ask the AD for a SubC which I would probably get in a month or 2 for another $7,500. Finally, I would go on a wait list for the Batman. This probably would take several months or far longer, but likely to get one after buying 2 other watches at retail. Paying $15K for a Batman is 60% plus over retail. I don't like over paying. |

It took 4 1/2 months for my DJ41 blue sticks smooth jubilee to arrive after I ordered it. Of course now they are allocation pieces and cannot be ordered ... so one must wait until the AD received it. Since there are so many different permutations of the DJ41 (dials, bezels and bracelets) it could be a long wait for the spec you want. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
