Protection film for watches

Just a thought... if you can wrap an entire car in matte or gloss paint protection film why doesn’t anyone do it for watches?

Would anyone opt for this if it was pretty much invisible and covered every link, clasp and watch case?

Because nothing is hitting my watch at 60 mph.

Wear the watch or don't, this is beyond silly.

He shoots and he scores. Haha love it. I belly laughed when I read this. Yep sometimes protection just isn’t needed nor is it better

I remain tempted to buy those film protectors just for my bracelet clasp. They're terribly overpriced though

I'm the crazy guy that does this. Buy a few feet of that film on Amazon and cover the clasp. Its invisible and in 2 years it will be good as new.

A ship in the harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are built for.

What film are you talking about? I wouldn’t put it on my watch but I would on my laptop where my wrist sits.

I am one of the few who do it on the clasps. Why not? It is extra protection and hardly noticeable.

The operative word is “hardly”

Rolex put a lot of time into crafting, and polishing your watch. I want to enjoynit to the fullest without a clear film detracting from the brilliance of the shine and sheen.

Covering it is like your girlfriend wearing a beach wrap over a bikini ... it’s way hotter without

Yarg. This again? Get a Casio - they're already plastic. Metal is where I'm at.

Personally, I wouldn't do it, but I wouldn't judge anyone who did.

Ahh, just as in watches beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I’m sure the girlfriend is exquisite

Nope. Ever seen the silly pics of a plastic covered sofa? Same dumb mentality. Wear the watch, don't let it wear you. It is just a material possession, nothing more.
