These are false positives imho. No Luminova based watch has lume to write home about. Sure they're bright when first charged but give them a bit of time and they're unreadable. Tritium is the only lume to really be successful imho. The only difference between the SuperLuminova dials is the size of the plots and the color. Tritium tubes on the other time change unnoticeably change only over the years. Wish that Rolex would adopt this superior technology.

Agree, the lume on my wife's new DJ31 is practically useless.

Best Regards,

Tudor Pelagos has a much better lume than all Rolex sport watches.
This was why I also chose the blue Pelagos as my dive watch in 2015.

They had half life period 12,5 years, ( tritium ), so they soon after that had no lume at all.

You can always change dial and hnds, but then, its not the original.

Great lume shots but with lume the greater the lume surface area the greater the lume glow will seem.

Rolex should do better with the lume. Looks nice but doesn't last too long. Maybe I need to spend time in the sun. ..but it's cold outside. .:)

Rolexs lume is OK but lacks compared to some other much less valued watches. They could really up there game in this department.
