Narrowed down my choice - take me to the finish line!

Hello,

I don’t have a dual tone Rolex. I have been going back and forth between dual tone Daytona, or dual tone SkyD. The Daytona was taken out of the running when I realized how beautiful a SS Daytona panda dial is with ceramic. It’s a bit more than I can spend, but now I have something to look forward to.

That leaves me with a dual tone SkyD. Now my dilemma is what face to get! They’re all so beautiful. My thoughts on:

Black: classy, works well for the size (42mm), but I already have a sea dweller and it might be too much of the same
White: classic. Might look a bit too big at 42mm, and a little boring but not in a bad way. Clean too.
Champaign: only benefit is that it makes the watch look a bit more $ since it makes it appear to have more gold on it than the other two. Also, super 70’s vintage look to it, like it’s an important watch.

What do you guys think between the three. Anything I need to know or look out for?

TIA!!

I see you have a black SD already then go for the white face. I think it’s very clean and Easy to read compared to champagne.

Without knowing what your current collection is, I’d go black as a safe bet.

I like the Champagne, something a bit different and a signature Rolex colour.

IMO champagne dials look great with two tone bracelets, oyster and jubilee.

I prefer the white first, black second, and last the champagne. But the last choice is growing on me. Pick the dial you do not already have.

Champagne seems to add something different to your current watches and it's a classic. It'd probably get my vote.

All three are very nice but after seeing how well the champagne flows I'd say that's the winner.

Haha you sound like all the reasonable people in my life.

I can’t take it with me when I exit this place, might as well enjoy it!

Also, someone tell me if this statement is wrong:

I’m trading $16,000 for a watch. When I need my $16,000 back, I’ll trade the watch for it.

(Of course depending on demand, market condition, bla bla bla).

All in all, I don’t see it as buying a watch, I’m just letting someone hold my cash while I hold their watch. I can always trade out. And if I can’t get what I paid, at least I got to enjoy a beautiful piece for just a little bit of money.

Also, after I saw this short ad I decided it was the Champaign.

This is the dream my brother. Either one, in any order. One day God willing!

Until then, I’d like some gold somewhere. Two tone is in the cards for gold, full gold, I hope to be back for that discussion one day.

i'd skip the black since you have the sea-dweller.......
white looks understated and champagne looks more dressy-ish, i like the white face a bit more~

For sure it’s white or champaign.

I do like the white better to be honest. It’s just a bit cleaner than champaign.

But I feel like if I get the white, I’ll always wish it was the Champaign.

I’m extra digging wearing this watch with suit or buttons down. But I’m looking forward even more to wearing it with jeans chucks and a tee. I feel like this is a watch and you can dress down in as long as it’s shining on your wrist!

White dial or black dial would be my choice in that order.
