That’s San Fran Bay with the coit tower on the far right (is that right?).

The home of Steve McQueen car chases!

Great city, but unfortunately if you aren't on the exact right street, you will find a lot of bad things happening there. Wish they would clean things up because San Francisco is truly beautiful.

Sure because LA is so pristine...

No place is perfect. Gratuitous and unnecessary shot.

I use to love SF. I wouldn’t want to live there today, as it’s the land of the Have’s and Have Not’s.....a great city years ago....now its known as Tent City....so sad....and many people leaving there and California because of all the negatives....I would want to get out while the getting is good...

Compared to other large cities in the world, it has very little history.
It is not even 250 years old when the Spanish founded it. That's nothing.

employing that myopic logic, no city has history compared to Jerusalem. Lol. Instead, I prefer to find and enjoy the richness of the history and culture of any place I find myself, without measuring and judging it by number of years. In the meantime, I’m enjoying the “nothingness” of San Francisco, a place “without history.”

Jerusalem and many other cities. I don't know why Americans who are offended when you tell them obvious things. They should be offended if you say false things, but not when you tell the truth.

Sorry, I didn't mean

One of the World's Great Cities perfected Irish Coffee. This joyous task, which began in the early 50's, took place and continues to occur at the Buena Vista Cafe on Hyde Street. Viewing them make and then drinking one of those creations was a high point of a visit several years ago. To my rummy friends that's some pretty significant history right there.

Safe travels to you and the Explorer.

Awesome. Didn’t know that.

And not to mention — home to one of the greatest Rolex dealers HQMilton. Which I visited yesterday to drool a bit.
