Yep. A few places in the city come pretty close to the genuine item. But part of the whole culinary experience is the Aussie vibe, which is hard to duplicate here in the Big Stinky.

What we need is a local equivalent of the Buy/Sell Rolex. Local second-hand retail is horrible. I deeply regret not buying another watch in 2013 when the exchange rate was better than parity. Not remotely viable at present.

Sorry I can't agree. I have tried to post a Seiko Save the Oceans King Turtle for the last few months and each time my post was rejected. Hafiz the administrator just abused me in a PM accusing me of being aggresive when all I did was question why one of the administrators keeps declining my post. I sent him a link and he never came back.

There are other watch sales forum such as WUS where I have 22 pages of feedback and 1 is negative. I don't know if some of the dodgy characters that used to be involved have returned but somebody there is deliberately blocking my posts.
