Icon7 Incoming Daytona

Finally arrived, unsized/unworn without dealer stickers As soon as I got it, I removed a couple links and adjusted it.

Couple of observations, haven't never worn it myself, only seen it in pictures and on someone else's wrist (but in black).

- It wears small, compared to my SubC, and even more compared to my SD43. The "smallness" is relative. I can only imagine comparing it with the DSSD I prefer chunky watches, but this is a change for me.
- The black bezel makes the watch contrast so much, love the rounded casing.
- Feels less of a tool watch than the SubC, and that is a good thing to change it up, as I tend to get bored with things really quick.
- Love the small details and the dials.

Overall, pretty pleased with the trades I made for it.

Ha, well it's 1.5mm smaller than a Sub so this makes sense.

Congrats!

Oh, and check your crown guards. Looks like they forgot a couple stickers!

Really nice

You may think it wears small, but especially on you it’s the perfect size. Tapers to the wrist like a DJ and so do the lugs like an older sub.

The new subs and sd’s really are big watches. I remember think the Daytona was small, but that was because I was use to subs.

Now I much prefer the size.

Awesome! Congratulations on a beautiful watch.

Btw, what trades did you make, if you don’t mind sharing?

beauty! congrats. and it feels small right now, but give it a week and you’ll realize how absurdly comfortable it is!

The main difference is not the dial size, which in nominal, but the supercase and thicker lugs on the Submariner. I really enjoy the more classic dimensions of the Daytona. Congrats and Enjoy the difference

It’s a beautiful watch.. but only few are lucky to get one! The flippers have made it impossible for real watch lovers I hope to buy one day else would be happy to pick a TT Daytona.

Congrats! The Daytona never really tempted me until this model was released a few years back. I’m a huge fan of the ceramic bezel and contrasting white dial.
