Tudor Discount

Hey all what’s a realistic discount on a Tudor 32mm bb? 10-15-20-25%? It’s a non desirable piece on a softer brand in a softening virus ridden market what do you guys think is achievable?
Thank You

I could be wrong, but I don’t think the virus will get you a discount from MSRP. Good luck though.

I was already offered 13% by the first AD I spoke with. Very nice gesture but I think there’s more to be had imho just wanted the boards thoughts. We are not talking about a GMT or 58 here.

19% plus 16.7% tax back is what my buddy got on that and the new two-tone one that looks like a daytona last week in Dubail in Paris. I was with him and thought it was solid.

Joma currently has 27-30% on this model depending on dial color. Let’s see if an AD prefers the business.

You lose the manufacturer's warranty if you go the Jomashop route

I was just using it as a reference point on price, but why lose the warranty? Doesn’t warranty travel with watch regardless of where it’s sourced?

I'm not sure if this is any different for Tudor, but Jomashop does not include the manufacturer warranty card with new watches they sell. The substitute their own warranty card which is handled through some third party vendor.

And one thing I learned the hard way is they don't cover water damage. I bought a Seiko diver there for my son. After a month or so it fogged up. Seiko would have covered it, but Jomashop does not. Lesson learned

Joma does not include warranty. Almost any store that sells them won't, of course DavidSW has a store, but those are sort of watches that were purchased for a person, then resold.

These are watches that were purchased to be resold.

I would value the warranty at least $500, maybe more, despite joma inhouse warranty.

I got 15% off on a Tudor with out asking. Maybe could have pushed for more but didn’t. The warranty is important to me especially with the type of chrono that Tudor uses. Mine is a chrono.

Would be surprised if you got over 15% from an AD - that would be a good discount on a good watch.

You can always ask for what you feel is a "reasonable" discount.

All they can say is "no" - or perhaps they "may" counteroffer.

Good Luck - you just never know unless you try, so why not ask?

Exactly my thought, always has & always will be.

Closed the deal at 26.5% off plus shipped to New Hampshire so no tax. Thanks everyone for your input.

Congrats on a good purchase for your wife. I do really like that particular watch, it doesn't seem like a hot seller. But to me it's a watch your wife could wear for a life time and it will never go out of style and be able to take a beating.

Agreed, thank you. I was 50/50 between the 32 & 36 but for me the 36 dial was a little boring. The compactness of 32 felt that it just worked well together as a package. Along with the bracelet and such it just works well. AD is nice enough to hold card until she see and confirm my thought or switches. I’m happy for her, I will keep everyone posted.

Picked up the Black Bay TT Chrono from a local AD a few moths ago at 25% off MSRP.
