Hard for us to make that call for you.
If your finances are in order then go for it. Otherwise, don't. Another Sub will come along if this isn't the one. |

If you have saved up, why not? I am an optimist and believe all of this will pass.

Is your income very secure? What % of your savings is the purchase? If it's not a very low percentage, I'd consider passing. A Sub Date isn't to long of a wait and might even be in showcases soon.

if your asking, your doubting your purchase. Time will pass and things will get better. Personally I think you will be able to purchase a sub date at a decent discount in the near future. Lots of people are loosing their jobs right now. And a sub that they can use to pay bills will be the first to go. If you have the money, buy when be people are selling and sell when people are buying.

A Sub and no money is better than money and no Sub.

If you have to ask, it's probably best to pass.
Only buy if you're comfortable with the decision. |

Get the sub! If you pass they’ll skip you on the next offering. This is only recommended if you have all your things in order: minimal consumer debt, you have a home/place to dwell, you’re stocked on foods and have a small stack of liquid assets (cash) and you have the funds for this saved as descretionary spending dollars. If this is you - do it!
I was offered a Rootbeer CHNR last week. Think I passed? NOPE! Not a chance - it’s on my wrist now! I was shocked at the total cost, bus had the funds and all the other boxes ticked. Last edited by horohollis; 18 March 2020 at 06:21 AM.. Reason: Misspelled had as has |

I would pass. I'd rather have that cash in hand during a crisis, than not.
Even if you try to flip it, right now, it's not looking good. You'll always be able to buy a Sub, it's not going away. |

I agree. Even if financially well-situated, spending $$$$ on a luxury item is not an action I would pursue.

Can't make the call for you, it's a good buy today at msrp but who knows what tomorrow will bring. I just made two good used Omega buys (i think) one last week and one today so what do i know...

Word on the street is that the Sub will be getting an update this year. If I were you I'd wait since I hate buying an old iteration so close to a new release but YMMV.

If you think it isn't the right time, then it likely isn't. Its just a watch. Give it a miss.

If you have to ask, the answer is likely no...if you're financially stable enough to acquire it without adding stress and hardship on your life, then go for it.

Agreed. It’s hard to predict what the coming weeks and months will look like, so if you’re worried you probably have your answer. If you’re not, run don’t walk before you’re dealer closes for quarantine.

who knows if both the demand and price are going to drop further? maybe ask yourself: do i need another watch at this moment? this works quite well for me recently :)
