Rolex Deeptona??? From Bazel???
WOW,
Has any of you seen this?? http://rruegger.blogspot.com/2009/03...-deeptona.html I was on the basel site looking at the new watches that are about to come out and saw this. The writing is all in german I believe. So I'm not sure is this is only going to be available in Europe, or if it's a limited type deal. But either way I want one!!! This is also the main site that this link is on. Scroll down about half way and you'll see it http://rruegger.blogspot.com/ |

It appears to be nothing more than a poster having some fun with photoshop.

I never got the point of diver chronos, they're halfway houses that are too big to live with on dry land, and non-functional underwater. Anyway, this is just a photoshop, Rolex will not be making this, not in a thousand years.

Loose translation of the text under the pic:
Indeed, it is not yet 1st April, but after time zone-member tagesol grad a photo shop-marathon has brought behind himself, a look at his not quite seriously meant interpretations is also worthwhile here. There are great views other (un) of possible Rolex creations here.

Rolex made a chrono w/ date, trip lock crown, and large oyster case years ago, albeit under the Tudor brand.
