Omega delays maintenance
FYI,
Omega received my 1970's Omega Seamaster De Ville on the 5th of February. Due to age, it went overseas for maintenance. It was due back today (APR 14th). Was just emailed and told due to circumstances they would make every effort to return my watch by July 1st. I hope everyone stays safe and we get past this...but I'm missing my watch! |

It's very special. It was my father's first nice watch. He had my mother's birthday, my sisters birthday, my birthday, and his wedding anniversary date engraved on the back. He passed away last march and my mother gave it to my last Christmas.

Yeah, I sent an Omega to Nesbit's in Seattle in late February, and it'll be a long time before it's back.

Great looking watch
And a peak into the Patek owners typical service experience. Do you have a back up to keep the wrist happy?

This was also my father's. My mom bought it for him in the late 70's.

Yikes that's a long time to be without your watch but I'm sure it will be worth it!
