116500LN on bracelet vs RubberB?
I'm torn between having it on the bracelet or the RubberB strap. What do you guys think and which one would be your preference and the reason?
Thanks for your help and stay safe. |

Not even close...the bracelet.
Why- Rolex bracelets have superior design, materials and feel over rubber. |

The bracelet.
I can't understand why anyone would remove such a well-designed/great-looking bracelet to put such a watch on rubber. |

My preference is the original steel bracelet, but I have been thinking about buying a rubber bracelet to mix things up from time to time.

Another vote for the bracelet. I'm not crazy about rubber straps. I tried one on a Breathing Aerospace. It looked fine, but the original bracelet was more comfortable and looked better to me.
I think the white daytona dial of the Daytona, especially, looks well with the original bracelet. The rubber strap you have pictured significantly overpowers the balance of contrasts present with the dial, sub dials and bezel. The bracelet, with its polished center links, gives the watch elegance, and that, combined with the sportiness of its chronograph complication, make the Daytona what it is...a supremely handsome watch, elegant in presentation, a marvelous balance of dress watch and sports watch. In short, I think the rubber strap obscures the natural visual presence of the watch. To my eye, it just doesn't "go". Now, if you have some pursuits that could subject the bracelet to damage (or just a lot of dings), then perhaps the rubber strap makes sense for you. That's my subjective take, for what it's worth. |

We all know it looks great on bracelets but it on rubber is something else.

IMO, oyster bracelet is the only acceptable choice here.

Bracelet for sure. Rubber doesn’t look good with white dial Daytona.

Why not both, change it up when you get bored, it'll be like 2 watches in 1!

Bracelet is far superior in comfort and feel. It's fun to switch to rubber occasionally.

I am one who does switch to rubber straps for a change of pace, but as others have said, nothing can beat the metal.

I love both. If I had to choose I'd say go rubber on the black dial over the white. This is mine with the rubber b.

I think this looks terrific! I think the 116519LN WG looks great on the OF with the built in end links. However, I like the black Daytona here with the black rubber going right to the bezel. Just looks great to my eye. Maybe the white Daytona would look good with OF and smarty end links.

I agree the smarty end links may help break up the white/black stark contrast. |
