Price drop?

Know almost nothing about Panerai except what I have read here.

Just curious how much prices have dropped with the current downturn in the economy. I guess I mean the used market, since I assume Panerai, like Rolex, continues to raise prices no matter what.

Curious, for example, how much a used 88 has dropped in recent months/years (or any model you have experience with).

I don't think they have dropped at all to be honest but some models may have, I could be wrong.

I really wish they would, but there's no sign of prices slowing up, let alone coming back down!

My AD has shifted a fair few PAMs this year, so the MRSP is what they quote and what they expect me to pay.

My AD is discounting 10% off of the in-house movement Pam's only and I doubt that will extend to the new in-house movement Pam's when they start showing up.

In Kuala Lumpur, an 88 cost US$5800 now, after a 10% discount.
And in Dubai, around US$6260, after discount.

To be fair i guess it's different around the world, and Panerai cater for this, in Dubai bartering is part of daily life, whereas in Europe you don't really do that.

I was offered an 88 with 10% off because I was an existing customer. I guess you can't expect more.
