Rootbeer On Brown Leather Bund

Tried a few Bund straps for that smooth n' cool retro look. Finally decided on this one from Amazon ( $26 https://amzn.to/2yXwkis ). Yeah, i know this look is a bit polarizing, yet love the reto visuals and it is very comfy to wear too! Like the Rootbeer once you see it in person... pics don't do it justice imho.

Not bad. I remember wearing similar bands as a kid in the late 60's early 70's!

Yes. They are totally off putting to me too. They look like bondage gear to me.. Not that I actively look for bondage gear online you understand..

There's a good joke there somewhere, just need to tie down all the loose ends to figure it out

Too much going on. And I love the CHNR.

But you do you... That's what's important in life I say!

Great comments so far and agree the look can be a bit polarizing. And yes, you may want to consider your outfit / on-stage clothes to match the style.

IMO, hideous. So thick. Couldn’t imagine that thick cuff on my wrist

I like it. I have a bund strap that I have an old Timex diver on and may give it a try. I'm not sure I want to take the time as I am sure I will say "looks interesting, now where is the original bracelet"!

Not my cup of tea. Too much going on the wrist. Less is more in my book.

Fashionable particularly with the beads bracelets.

I, for one, wouldn't put a $26 band on a $15k watch when the original bracelet is so beautiful.

A big no no, this beautifull, subtle watch is extremely offset by a strap for 52 mm Kyboe or a huge Uboat.

I like that Steve does this stuff.

Looks fine. I don’t like bunds on anything except bullheads but, it works.

Did I mention this style can be VERY polarizing.

I understand both sides.

I'm not a Bundian, but I don't think I could pull off the beaded bracelet look either. They do seem to go together. Love the watch! Cheers to you sir and your style!
