Need Advice-Please Help A Newbie

I have a potential seller on IG based in Berlin, Germany willing to sell me a 2018 Datejust with box and papers for 5,700 euros. He offered to do the purchase via escrow service (fastwaycouriersandescrows). In which they will facilitate the purchase and I will release the funds when I validate the watch is in my hands and can get it validated. Has anyone made a purchase with this method? And can you legitimize this watch?

Seller: Michael Ryan Henderson
Email: ryanauto2367@yahoo.com

It strikes me as odd that you have some very nice pictures at various angles, but no pic from straight on as a close up. Did you forget?

If he is providing you all of those pictures, and not a close up from the front, with all due respect, thats already a red flag for me, but prove me wrong he could have missed it and forgot to send

From my research, shouldn't all Rolex watches manufactured after mid 2015 come with green hang tags? That red hang tag seems to be a dead giveaway. I'd avoid this purchase.

Out of curiosity:

1. Were they pics posted on here by a member named timepiecegentleman? His pics seem to be stolen by fraudsters fairly often.

2. Any particular reason you were looking for that watch from a seller in Berlin? We have numerous trusted sellers on the forum that are not only stateside, but have impeccable reputations so you can source your watch without even thinking of the possibility of fraud. Not sure if you were aware being a recent join to the forum, so figured it’s worth mentioning.

No the pics were stolen from fnfz. And the scammer contacted me on IG which led me to sign up to TRF (kinda thx to him for that).
