Tudor Prince Date Chrono 79260

Is it a sound watch to purchase? I’m thinking about adding one to the collection (Tiger version) but I don’t know a lot about it. Any advice/perspective would be appreciated.

Hard to tell from just one pic but nothing stands out as a problem. Btw, this is a 79260P [P, for polished lugs]. It has a robust 25 jewel Valjoux 7750, so service won't be an issue.

I think on a metal bracelet would be better than the leather strap. Just my preference though

Hi,

My 2 cents ............ A sound purchase, classic looks, wears beautifully, cheap servicing and good value at under £ 2,750 GBP or equivalent $.

Its my mini Daytona and a watch i enjoy wearing with no worries.

Is this the watch you are buying, or just an example pic?

The Tiger is a great choice but my advice is to vet the the watch carefully and then the seller 10x of the watch before buying.

Great watch, go for it while you can. These have been creeping up in value for quite a while.

I would say yes it's a great watch and appreciating in value. My watch is a 2005 72960P non Tiger version

Been wearing mine on the original sharkskin strap for a while and just swapped out to the bracelet last night for the warmer weather, I love this watch, you can’t go wrong

Thanks for the responses. I've come to the conclusion that I'd like to add it to my collection.
