I have both and they are both fantastic; if I could only choose one, it would definitely be the Daytona.

These pieces are so so different only you know which one you think you’ll want to wear forever.
Can’t go wrong with either one really. Don’t let the Daytona super hype influence your decision. Which appeals to you more ?: |

I should have mentioned I have the 116520 which I prefer to the ceramic version of the Daytona. Between the ceramic Daytona and the GMT, I would probably go GMT.

I too have a Sub date but if given a chance to pick the Pepsi, I’d pick it up in a heartbeat! Except the dial colour, nothing is similar between the two watches. The bezel and the bracelet of the Pepsi makes it different and slightly more flashy compared to the Sub. Sub with its matt finishes oyester bracelet and black bezel would be more subtle and under the radar comparatively. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Sounds like you don’t have your heart set on either so you should buy both and sell the Daytona. The profit will just about pay for the BLRO. If you can only choose one then the Daytona will probably be worth more in the long term.

GMT I think for most people is the perfect functionality/style blend. Even though I don't have one (yet), if someone were to ask me which watch to get of all models if you were only to have one, a GMT would probably be it. Daytona is certainly rarer and very nice watch, but GMT is where it's at if you're looking for one piece.

Why do people comment both when his post clearly says he can only get 1 of the allocations. lol.
Get the GMT. Daytona is overhyped. |
