Now that you mention it, I did wear it with a suit once, just to torture the wife. And, it was stunning, if I do say so................Her? different opinion, much different....................David |

The SS sub is the only watch you NEED. All the others, you just want.

Sport watches with suits and business casual wear are pretty common these days. The black enamel dial of the Sub really dresses up when you dress up.

It goes with all of the above, but not with formal attire (a suit and tie is not formal). Watch geeks disagree, but experts on formalware don't.

This comes up frequently and the gang always tells the questioner "do whatever you like." Fair enough, but that's not actually a true statement when it comes to formal attire. You can't do "whatever you like," and respect formality at the same time. For example, I might think red Chuck Taylors look awesome with black tie, but it would be irresponsible to present that opinion as a summary of the traditions and customs of formal attire. There's a difference. To the OP: you're asking an on-line wristwatch fan club a question they're incapable of answering objectively. Beware! |

I beg to disagree. My Sub looks tops when I'm in a Tux or White Dinner jacket.
