Batman Jubilee bracelet swap
Hey guys - my friend has the Batman on the Jubilee and has expressed interest in swapping to an Oyster to gain the more versatile use vs the dressier jubilee. I have heard that Rolex made the lugs slightly diff for the jubilee vs the oyster. Is this true? I feel like I have also seen people prove this incorrect by swapping oysters on and the jubilee onto a Sub etc.

I am also curious about this. I have a Hulk, and wondering if the Jubilee bracelet From a Batgirl will fit, or the PCL bracelet from a Daytona will fit because I don’t like the brushed finish on the Hulk, it’s too plain. Someone has to know this.

Ive seen a blog somewhere, where someone did this exact swap. Jubilee to the Hulk and vice versus. But I wanted to hear from someone more technical than a blog.

Ditto, was searching for the same post right now. Honestly, I think an all brushed, NON-PCL, Oyster would harken back to 16750/16710 territory.
From Bob's Watches: "According to his comments, he took the steel Oyster bracelet from his GMT-Master II “Batman” and combined it with the spring bars from the Jubilee bracelet of his GMT-Master II “Pepsi.” Using this method, he successfully attached the Oyster bracelet from his ref. 116710BLNR to his ref. 126710BLRO" So assuming the spring bars follow accordingly. |

After more research, the trick is to simply use 1.5mm shouldered spring bars to go Oyster to Jubilee or Put a Jubilee on a watch that had Oyster.

From memory most bracelets are interchangeable but you must use the pins that came with the watch this applies to 6 digit models with no case holes
Be careful what you change on 5 digit models if they don’t have case holes be careful what end link is used , ![]() |

You can switch to Oyster , just need to use the Jubilee spring bars.
I did it with 116710LN (black GMT ) bracelet. Purchased 2nd set of spring bars so each bracelet has its own set as well. |

Do you have pictures? I like the fat lugs on original Batman, but it’s hard to find one in excellent shape on grey market. If I can swap and it looks great, I’m sold.

From my experience trying to fit a oyster to a new 126710 gmt is very fiddly ,And then trying to use the new Jubilee from a 126710 with the new style endlinks with the flange on the bottom edge that tucks in the Watch case ,I didn’t even attempt it. I then realise most people are using the super jubilee 62300 version bracelet.
