Vero x WindUp Granite 38 - Innovative American Microbrand

Greetings!

I've been wanting to try out one of these watches for the longest time and I recently came across one on the pre-owned market that I couldn't pass up.

Vero is based in Portland, OR (USA) and they make most of their watches in-house (cases, dials and their proprietary piston sealed crown system), so probably one of the few American micro-brands that are actually American.

The piston sealed crown system allows the watch to maintain it's 100m of water resistance whether the crown is pulled out or pushed in.

Thanks for the nice review! I agree, the minute track and short second hand are both awkward and kind of makes it a no-go for me .
