New Purchase
Hello,
I just bought a 1989 Rolex GMT 16710 with the original “coke” bezel. The only think that has been replaced are the hands. I believe they are official Rolex “service” hands. Does this greatly effect the value of the watch? Thanks! |

I'm thinking no if they match the hour markers aesthetically and are date correct tritium. If they are later luminova hands it could effect the value. If they are indeed 'original' service hands it wouldn't bother me at all if it were mine. It took me awhile to find mine, a year or so search. I'm glad i didn't give up as it's really my favorite Rolex. Enjoy yours!..

As long as they are tritium as the dial it should not be a problem.
