Advice/Help on Tiffany Signed 5513
New guy here, hoping to get some information/perspective. My go-to watch expert friend was just laid-off and I don't want to trouble him with a petty question while his world got turned upside down.
I'm looking at this Tiffany signed 1984 (I believe) 5513 and the dial looks to be a Mark IV Maxi but without the "Z" shaped S in Submariner. It's hard to see in the photo exactly the shape of the S. I will definitely see it in person (I have to travel a good ways to get there - so want to make sure I'm not wasting my time on an obvious fake). I guess my question is, with all the many variations of 5513 dials that are out there, is this a possible configuration? Or is it questionable if not "Z" shaped? No papers, I understand that make the addition of Tiffany negligible to the cost - I feel like I could get it for the same price as a comparable non-Tiffany maxi. https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZWPGLr5AdQ3pCX1u7 Depending on that - could I get an opinion on the following? My collection mainly consists of vintage Omegas (Speedys, 60's Omega dress watches, etc) with one 5513, a 1989 WG surround - not a lot of patina, but a well-maintained solid daily driver I don't have to worry much about. I don't have a Calatrava yet, though, and I don't need more than one Tiffany signed watch in the collection, so I'm considering the following combos: Either this: My current 5513 https://photos.app.goo.gl/GnoPNXak4iS3QxMb8 -and- Tiffany signed 33mm Calatrava (I have always loved the classic hobnail, which I think of as iconic Patek, but someone just said it was out of favor?) https://photos.app.goo.gl/tMf3NDoH3DrYihMk6 Or this: The aforementioned Tiffany signed Maxi 5513 https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZWPGLr5AdQ3pCX1u7 -and- Waiting to find a 37mm Calatrava (will require some additional time and savings) https://photos.app.goo.gl/ubDrycBNtG6kwNC56 Which combo would you prefer? I'm trying to decide if I want any more sub 35mm watches (like my Omegas) as everything's moved larger. I don't have very large wrists so they look fine on me but I do like to tinker with the lineup every few years, so re-sale-ability is important as well. Sorry for the long post, it's a lot to unpack)...appreciate any advice/expertise! Thanks in advance. |

Could only post as links for some reason - maybe doesn't work with google images? |

The first two photos load, they're just extremely low quality, and the first one seems to be a screenshot.
